Saddle Up
Ballito Beach Rides offers two-hour guided horse rides through indigenous bush trails and along a private beach just north of Ballito. Rides are available Monday to Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:00–10:00 and 15:00–17:00. Closed on Thursdays. Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all riders are required to follow a few basic guidelines. Please wear long pants and closed shoes—preferably with a small heel—for comfort and safety. Riders must be completely sober; no alcohol or substance use is allowed before the ride. There is a maximum weight limit of 105 kg and a minimum age requirement of 6 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Riders should also be physically capable of mounting, dismounting, and controlling the horse with basic instruction. If you have any medical concerns or special considerations, please include them in your booking form so we can make the necessary arrangements.
